French Toast - Dairy Allergy Friendly
We tested out something new this week for Walker and it was a hit! Who doesn’t love french toast though?
Ingredients
4-6 slices of bread
6 tablespoons almond milk
2 eggs
1/2 tablespoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
add salt if desired
Instructions-Whisk together all ingredients in a large bowl.
-Heat non stick pan or griddle.
-Dip bread into mixture until evenly coated.
-Cook each side until golden brown. Repeat for each piece.
-OPTIONAL: sprinkle with icing sugar, cinnamon, top with butter and/or maple syrup.
I feel this will be a weekly breakfast option now, and I for one, am not complaining.
